Intent and discovery differ

Search advertising can respond to a need someone is already expressing. The advert and landing page should match that search. If a person looks for a specific solution in Tenerife, arriving on a generic homepage may force them to start again. The journey should continue the intent behind their click.

On discovery platforms, creative material has more work to do: attract attention, explain the offer and provide a reason to continue. A visible result, demonstration or specific explanation can create that interest. The offer and available material matter as much as the channel itself.

Prepare the landing experience

Before spending, review the destination on a phone. It should explain the service, answer major questions and support a contact action consistent with the campaign. If the advert offers an assessment, the form should collect the information needed to prepare it, without requesting details nobody will use.

Check whether the team can handle enquiries. Conversations may be lost because nobody replies or because the advertised service is unavailable. Advertising connects communication and operations; it cannot by itself fix an unclear offer or a business with no capacity to deliver.

Run an interpretable test

Define what you want to learn before launching: which service interests people, which message is understood or which journey attracts relevant enquiries. Changing the offer, audience, creative and page at the same time makes results difficult to interpret. A test budget should fit the learning goal and the service margin.

  • Objective: one action and a clear quality criterion.
  • Message: a specific, supportable promise.
  • Destination: content that continues the campaign.
  • Response: a person and a process for handling interest.

Measure beyond the click

Separate a visit, a WhatsApp click and a received enquiry. They are different actions. Commercial evaluation also requires knowing whether the person fits the service and eventually becomes a customer. Record proportionate information with appropriate data handling rather than collecting everything by default.

There is no universal spending split or cost per enquiry for every Tenerife sector. Competition, the offer and the sales process differ. We start with the business situation and choose channels and tests accordingly. A result achieved by another business is not a promise of the same outcome for yours.
